Meet Moazzam Iqbal
I bring more than 17 years of experience in tax and public accounting, having worked in both audit and taxation across the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.
Over the years, I have prepared tax filings and provided accounting services for more than 3,000 individuals and businesses. My experience includes personal and corporate tax returns, bookkeeping, HST filings, payroll, cross-border tax matters, and complex situations that other firms have sometimes been unable or unwilling to take on.
I have completed the CPA Tax Immersion Program through CPA Ontario, an advanced program focused on Canadian taxation. I also hold a degree in Advanced Accounting, Taxation, and Bookkeeping from a Canadian institution.
But my experience is not limited to working as an accountant. I am also a business owner. I have managed my own payroll, prepared and filed my own T2 corporate tax returns, and dealt firsthand with the responsibilities and pressures that come with running a business.
I know what it feels like when a CRA letter lands on your desk. I understand the pressure of a tax deadline from your side of the desk, not just mine.
My office is located in Embrun Plaza. If you would rather sit across the desk from the person actually handling your taxes, someone you can speak with, ask questions, and get to know rather than simply upload documents to a portal and hope for the best, that is exactly the kind of accounting practice I have built.
